Jet McQuiston’s Vital Signs collection is inspired by her Philosophy BA and interest in semiotics, the study of signs, and how words function as things/ideas and have the power to not just communicate, but also influence our perceptions, thoughts and behaviour. Celebrating iconic artists, musicians and philosophers from the past 5 centuries these jewels act as tiny power totems for the wearer.
Love Bomb Mini Egg Pendant. This piece 'Love Bomb' to parody a current cultural fixation. The pendant features 30 love lines from iconic artists on sex and love. Jet uses the egg as a motif for housing the idea given this is where love and life starts.
