Mimi Hope b. 1994, London, lives and works in London. Hope studied her BA in Fine Art: Chelsea College of Arts, graduating in 2017. Recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition at Supplement Gallery in April 2018. Forthcoming exhibitions include Bloomberg New Contemporaries at Liverpool Biennial and London. Recently Hope was a studio holder at Sarabande: The Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation, London 2017-2018.
Mimi’s recent works, the ‘Cloud’ lenticulars explore notions of transcendence and freedom. The works are simultaneously static and in flux, activated only by the viewer’s movement around them.
