Space-age Needlework’ platforms the contribution of craftswomen to the NASA Apollo missions, through the hand-weaving of Core Rope Computer Memory Modules. Inspired by a press release that listed the names of some of the women and referred to them as ‘Space-Age Needleworkers’. This module was hand-woven using the same binary technique as the original modules and reads: 'Space Age Needleworkers'

From Martina's collection, Weight of Waste, which investigates the
environmental toll of the design industry. This new body of work includes a series of handwoven stools re-crafted from second-hand furniture, and vibrant woven textiles meticulously constructed from off-cuts found in sample books discarded by other designers. Each piece is hand-cut and hand-woven, using Martina's distinct geometric patterns, transforming discarded materials into contemporary design.
