INSPIRED: Robert Wun
Robert Wun, a master storyteller, debuted his first runway show in Paris in January 2023, with the support of Bruno Pavlovsky at Chanel. This milestone came after nearly a decade of leading his eponymous label and made him the first designer from Hong Kong to join the prestigious Haute Couture Calendar, invited by The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
Robert's designs are deeply inspired by organic and natural forms, exploring themes of visibility and liberation in fashion. His designs merge nature’s endless beauty with cherished memories of the women who influenced his upbringing, particularly his grandmother. His creations have been worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Rosalía, Anya Taylor-Joy, Dame Helen Mirren, Lady Gaga and Adele, to name a few.
Journalist and critic Pierre A. M’Pelé, known online as Pam Boy, will join Robert on stage to discuss his extraordinary fashion journey, from his childhood to his latest couture show in Hong Kong.
