Natalia Triantafylli
Natalia Triantafylli (b. 1992) is a Greek designer and maker who’s work is characterised by an animistic perspective toward the material world. She explores themes such as ornamentation, revivalism, and wonde rfor their transportive qualities—to unlock dreams and evoke a sense of being out-of-place. Her latest collection, ‘Chimeras and Hybrids’,combines hand-built ceramics with their 3D-printed alter egos. Her approach to creating the digital parts is hands-on: rather than 3D modelling, she shapes forms out of clay, which are then digitised using photogrammetry to create 3D models from photographs. Triantafylli holds an MA in Design Products from theRoyal College of Art, where she was awarded a full scholarship by the Burberry Design Foundation. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Alcova during Milan Design Week, Collectible DesignFair, and London Design Festival. She has gained international representation with galleries including The Future Perfect in the USA and Max Radford Gallery inLondon, among others.
