Cathy Meyong is an aspiring Womenswear Designer whose work had already been featured in British Vogue, Vogue Italia and T-Magazine in her first year at Central Saint Martins. Born and raised in Germany she left her country of origin when she was 18 to follow the footsteps of her father who himself had left his country of origin Cameroon in West Africa to seek opportunities and a better life abroad. Since then her work is heavily based on her own experience with immigration and austerity, arriving in England shortly after the Brexit Vote. Her work is aiming to constantly question race relations of the Western world and empower marginalized women from all backgrounds.
