Saelia Aparicio
Saelia Aparicio Torinos was born in 1982 in Spain, and now lives and works in London. She graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, 2015. Saelia works in sculpture, animation, large scale free-hand drawings and glass blowing - is always willing to experiment and collaborate. She has exhibited over 75 times, 12 of which have been solo shows, and has recently won Generaciones 2019, an award that celebrates contemporary art - with a prize of 10,000 euros - and a group show at la "Casa Encendida" in Madrid. It’s one of the most prestigious awards for emerging artists in Europe. Saelia created a large installation at the Sarabande x JOYCE pop up in Hong Kong after which she flew home to exhibit with The Serpentine.
