Workshop: 'Our Front Room' with George Richardson
In this exciting session, artist George Richardson invites you to draw your home and the objects within it only from memory, focusing on capturing the essence of your space and what it means to you. In addition to translating memories onto paper, participants will have the opportunity to use wood to shape their creations into 3D objects.
Throughout the session, participants will bring their creations together to form a shared, imaginative space. Drawings and sculptures will merge into ‘Our Front Room’—a vibrant, dream-like version of a home filled with abstracted memories and creative interpretations. Paper windows, sketches, sculptures and whimsical cutouts will combine to shape a collective, surreal vision of ‘home.’
