Currently studying Menswear at Central Saint Martins, Timisola completed an art foundation at Kingston School of Art. Within her work, Timi hones in on gesture and movements to influence her designs. Her designs have allowed her to express herself by speaking on critical race issues, and the dynamisms of being an African migrant, exploring her culture and sharing a homogeneous black experience. As a designer, Timi intends on developing perspectives, discussing the experience of growing up not only in London and Nigeria, but a period of her youth in rural Kent. She hopes to develop her research on intricate textiles and cutting.
