Clara Chu

Clara Chu is a London based womenswear accessories designer. Much of Clara’s work exploit the concept of the hand crafted and the incorporation of innovative technology. Through visionary and colourful pop accessories, she re-imagines and re-creates textures of the edible by transforming mundane everyday objects such as kitchenware. Graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2019, her work has been seen in publications including The Face, Lifestyle Asia, Dazed and Vogue Italia. She’s fascinated to explore the question of how we associate our bodies with anonymous designs such as a vegetable peeler, a juicer or a spoon.
