'In Paper' by Thomas Garnon | Exhibition

For his first solo show at Sarabande Thomas Garnon presented a new body of sculptural and collage based works – pieces created to exude gestural spontaneity. Their seemingly abstract forms, with the slightest nuance of light or shift in position, could become recognizable figures of everyday life. The audience was encouraged to get close and spend time studying the vitality of each piece, coming to his or her own conclusions of what the sculpture may represent.
