Arts Council Workshop

As part of Sarabande’s continuing programme of workshops and talks from industry professionals we played host to Lucy Sollitt of Arts Council England who led a discussion on their rolling funding programme – Grants for the Arts. This programme exists to help creatives complete projects in art, design, theatre and more and bursaries are offered for between £1,000 - £15,000 and also from £15,000 - plus. As you would expect, the process is specific and oversubscribed and this talk was designed to give those affiliated with the foundation an opportunity to get to grips with the application.
