Francoise Odill
Pronouns: She/Her
Françoise Odill is an artist and contortionist investigating the subject of body manipulation.
The human form, modes of bodily self-expression, the notions of body augmentation and abstraction, and the body’s relationship to its environment are always at the centre of her interest. Her work is
vastly multidisciplinary - translating and combining her movement practice with experimental body art, body modification, drawing, writing, installations, photography and video, using the body as the primary medium.
The overarching intention behind the work is to remain fluid in self-expression and thus explore the depth of human creative potential while seeking personal authenticity and artistic excellence. She desires to express the formless in a world of form.
