Daisy Collingridge’s work is inherently animated, even when static. The soft, fleshy textile sculptures—often worn as full-body suits—invite movement, embodying a living presence that transcends traditional sculpture. They stretch, jiggle, and morph with the body inside them. ‘Burt in motion’ captures a series of fleeting poses- a momentary articulation of something fluid and alive. Movement is existence, animation and change- those things that are the essence of the organic body.
