Welcome Neil Zhao to the Sarabande community!
Introducing Neil Zhao, our 2023/24 Central Saint Martins BA scholar, handpicked by Francesca Amfitheatrof.
Neil's work uses fashion as an anthropological lens to study the environments surrounding him. Neil grew up in Australia, China and Norway, giving a sensibility for the nuances of culture. Neil takes things that our minds already know and communicates them into a new context.
The scholarship will provide much needed financial support to help to meet study deadlines, purchase tools and materials and take part in extracurricular workshops and activities.
