The Sarabande Mayfair Takeover: Charlotte Garnett at House of Bandits

Wellness is crucial to us all and the 13th of November marks the launch of Charlotte Garnett's virtual House of Bandits residency. Sarabande alumni Charlotte's jewellery creations are informed by her personal and the public experience with anxiety. Through tactile interaction, her jewellery is designed with the specific purpose of evoking calmness, utilised as fidget apparatuses that mimic our hand gestures when anxious, such as twirling our necklaces between our fingers or fiddling with our earrings. Her jewellery attracts a personal touch that invites a deep sense of comfort. 

Charlotte answers a Q & A, as well as an exploration on her novel practice and craftsmanship. These will navigate through the influence of anxiety, the integration of affirmative daily practices, and the role of jewellery in relation to good mental health.
