Katie Roberts-Wood founded the brand with an innovative approach to textiles and construction, committed to developing sustainable, flexible production methods, valuing a hybrid of technology and artisanal making that draws on themes of repetition, nature and mathematical patterns. Following 2 years at Sarabande Studios 2017 -19, ROBERTS | WOOD left London to repurpose a converted church in Lincolnshire as both a living space and studio space, giving them greater focus in honing their design and production principles in relation to sustainability. With a roster of international stockists, celebrity fans and global press like The Financial Times and Vogue, this film explores what their collections will look like in the future with the use of enduring design techniques, handcraft and technology with limited edition production and non-seasonal collections that employ methods of circularity (re-using scrap and deadstock fabrics).
