Bianca Saunders presents SS25 collection at Paris Fashion Week
Bianca Saunders just released her Spring/Summer 2025 Men's wear collection at Paris, titled 'The Hotel'.
Known for her innovative approach to menswear, Bianca delves into a world where refined opulence meets vibrant craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from the unique perspective of the tourist.
For this collection, Bianca was inspired by the fresh-eyed perspective of tourists. Acclaimed photojournalist Bradley Smith's photographs of a Jamaican resort in the 1940s and his book 'Escape to the West Indies: A Guidebook to the Islands of the Caribbean' were the evocative inspirations behind the collection. Smith captured the staff's distinct personalities and their sartorial suaveness in a manner that deeply resonated with Saunders.
Bianca explored how their idealised views shape their perception of a new place, capturing the excitement and novelty that comes with exploring unknown territories. This thematic choice offered a rich canvas for Saunders to experiment with visual and conceptual elements, making "The Hotel" a narrative as much as a fashion statement.
Pushing the boundaries of gender, and investigating construction to propose fresh ideas for menswear, Bianca intertwines her Caribbean roots and her signature cutting to invite captures movement in clothes, serving as the base to the collections.
