Read all about it, read all about it - Let's read all about you!
You have just finished your first collection and need to see your brand in print, but how are you going to get there? Have you thought about how you are going to get your jewellery line in the broadsheets? Who is going to come to your solo art show and where will they read about it?
Let's find out!
Associate Editor of The Face and freelance journalist Craig McLean and fashion freelancer Lauren Cochrane will lead this practical talk, detailing how to successfully pitch yourself and your work to journalists and magazines.
As freelance writers for The Telegraph, Evening Standard, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and the Financial Times, Craig and Lauren, also the senior fashion writer for The Guardian, know how to pitch a story.
For this practical talk at Sarabande, Craig and Lauren will share each step, from sourcing the right person to connect with, ensuring a catchy subject line, the fundamentals of pitching, and of course, to the nail-biting follow up.
Please note that these events are being filmed and photographed for internal and commercial purposes.
