Sarabande Designer Clara Pinto presents FW24 collection titled “OMBU” in honour of the South American giant grass tree.

Clara has a strong passion for textile manipulation; her inspiration is drawn from her research and development in fabric and from symbolic elements of her homeland. The FW24 collection is named “OMBU”, honouring the South American giant grass tree. Clara worked with zero-waste, 3D, wet-felt pieces: garments and accessories are created in a precise pattern, which reduces waste to zero and recreates the intricate sculptural shapes characteristic of the Ombu tree and its flower.

The brand’s signature style blends vibrant colours, layering of transparencies and the craftsmanship of felts, resulting in the creation of uniquely original garments.
