Carlo Brandelli in Conversation | Talks
February 2017
In this lecture Carlo gave his time to talk through his career and work to date, specifically exploring his creative process and the concept of cross-disciplinary design.
Carlo Brandelli is an award winning Creative Director who pioneered this role in the early 1990s with his first project ’Squire’ - a multi aesthetic project based in a gallery which showed fashion design alongside art. A long association with craft, art and Savile Row has put Brandelli at the forefront of a small group of designers whose work is now being seen as ‘applied art’. Brandelli has long been a designer who other designers ‘watch’, influencing quietly from behind the scenes and a regular lecturer on the international design circuit.
