Announcing our CSM BA Fashion Design Scholars for 2025/26!
Our Central Saint Martins BA scholarship have been selected! This year’s pick was made by none other than Sandy Powell CBE, Oscar-winning costume designer and Sarabande ambassador, joined by Central Saint Martins BA Fashion Course Director Sarah Gresty.
Emanuel Dawit

Emanuel Dawit is a fashion designer from London whose work explores the formation of adolescent identities in cities, articulating the realities of navigating manifold pressures. He is interested in the emergence of a unique cosmopolitan style formed through cultural clashes, necessity, and adaptation - using these references to interrogate traditions of cut and silhouette.
Fanfan Huang

Fanfan Huang is a Taiwanese and Scottish designer. Growing up in a practical household has instilled in her a respect and admiration of ''redundant and 'unglamorous' materials - like food remnants and hair, reflecting shared experiences of morbid curiosity, embarrassment, and repulsion in a culture of spectacle and aspiration.
We would like to give a big thank you to Sandy Powell CBE for making this selection with BA Fashion Course Leader, Sarah Gresty! Stay up to date with our new Scholars, and all other happenings here at Sarabande by signing up to our Newsletter and following our Instagram!
