Unframed A2 Poster, featuring an image of Kasia Wozniak's photograph 'Anemoia'

Kasia's practice investigates the tangibility of photographs and how we view photography today. Using the wet plate collodion technique, she interrogates ‘truth’ in photography and questions how we experience time. 'Anemoia' comes from an ongoing series of flowers, exploring the feeling of nostalgia for a time or place one has never experienced. Each originates from a scanned unique chromogenic photograph created with a large format Gandolfi Camera. This photo was meticulously hand processed and manipulated in the darkroom to achieve the desired aesthetic. 

F.E. Burman, printers since 1958 and long-time friends of Sarabande, bring their craftsmanship together with G.F Smith’s renowned papers to create something truly special. With designs by our talented artists - George Richardson, Kasia Wosniak, James Tailor, and Hamed Maiye, this collaboration offers you a unique piece of art at an accessible price. It’s a beautiful union of tradition, creativity, and community, all in support of Sarabande’s mission.

Emmely’s functional sculptures are an exploration of what objects mean to us as humans. With a playful approach to materiality in paper mâché and bright paint, she utilises found objects and recreates household items with a rough thickened surface finish.

Handwoven Green Stool

From Martina's collection, Weight of Waste, which investigates the
environmental toll of the design industry. This new body of work includes a series of handwoven stools re-crafted from second-hand furniture, and vibrant woven textiles meticulously constructed from off-cuts found in sample books discarded by other designers. Each piece is hand-cut and hand-woven, using Martina's distinct geometric patterns, transforming discarded materials into contemporary design.
