Workshop: "Headless" with Artist Françoise

An immersive drawing session, working with Françoise's performance persona, Headless, exploring themes of body augmentation and abstraction.
In this immersive drawing session, you'll work with Françoise's performance persona, Headless—a contorted, anonymous body whose head is trapped in a tunnel-like apparatus stretching to the ceiling. Moving with and against this structure, the figure appears more creature than human, exploring themes of body augmentation, abstraction and depersonalisation.
Poses will range from brief movement studies to 20-minute static holds. Materials will be provided, but attendees are more than welcome to bring extra drawing tools and paper types.
