House of Bandits (HOB) is an innovative physical and online gallery operated by Sarabande. It offers a platform for Sarabande artists, fashion designers, and jewellers to showcase and sell their unique creations to collectors, art lovers, and supporters of the arts.

We are seeking a dynamic Gallery Manager to lead the development and commercial success of HOB, ensuring it becomes a thriving retail and cultural entity that supports both the artists and the wider mission of Sarabande.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial success and strategic growth of House of Bandits.
  • Secure partnerships and collaborations to enhance HOB's offerings.
  • Manage and expand the client database to ensure sustained engagement.
  • Develop, update, and optimise the HOB website, with a focus on SEO across all platforms.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with collectors, art buyers, investors, and clients in fashion and jewellery.
  • Oversee marketing efforts for HOB, including external, internal, and digital events.
  • Promote and sell artists' work through various channels, ensuring maximum visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate closely with Sarabande artists to direct and oversee HOB artworks.
  • Ensure the physical HOB gallery is maintained to the highest standard, with a focus on quality presentation.
  • Coordinate the transportation and documentation of sold artworks, both nationally and internationally.
  • Manage general administration, including reporting, budgeting, finance, and accounts related to HOB.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail or art sales, with a proven track record.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creative and innovative ideas.
  • Proven ability to execute projects to the highest standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and business negotiation.
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and IT, including database management.

Additional Responsibilities:

As a member of the dedicated Sarabande team, you will also assist with shared activities, including programming talks, exhibitions, fundraising events, and special projects.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
