In October we held a crash course on Intellectual Property rights within the creative industries. Hosted by Razwana Akram, Senior Partner at Soho-based law firm Simons Muirhead & Burton Solicitors LLP and advisor to the Foundation. The audience of students and graduates was invited to get to grips with this important subject on how to protect your intellectual property as an artist with a key focus on where the lines of plagiarism can be drawn, citing examples from the contemporary fashion industry.
