Feeling that there was a gap in the market for statement shoes in the same league as clothes designed by Alexander McQueen and hats by Treacy, he went on to form his self named eponymous brand in 2005 and produce his first collection for SS/2005 which earned him the condé Nast Footwear news Vivan Infantino award in 2006 for emerging talent. He went on to win awards from Vogue, British Fashion Awards and the BFC/Vogue fund award. In 2008 he was appointed the role of accessories designer at Pollini.
