'I'm Fine' by Freya E. Morris | Exhibition
21 July 2017
6 - 8pm
‘I’m Fine’ is the debut solo show from Sarabande Studios artist-in-residence, Freya E. Morris. With works recognisable for their playful and analytical viewpoint, the work in this show are stock images, blown up, pinned up, cut up and tugged.
Having studied at Bristol School of Art followed by a scholarship at Central St. Martins in London, Freya has been artist-in-residence at Sarabande Studios since September 2016. As well as working in her studio, Freya has used this time to host life drawing classes and founded 'Suck It And See Projects’ - a rolling programme of 48 hour projects from The Brick Cube, a warehouse in Clapton due for demolition, which provided space and opportunity to over 40 artists.
