Dame Rachel Whiteread at Sarabande with Tim Marlow OBE

Dame Rachel Whiteread at Sarabande with Tim Marlow OBE

It was an honour to have Dame Rachel Whiteread join us this week for our INSPIRED talk with Tim Marlow OBE, director of The Design Museum. After touring the studios, the pair took to the Sarabande stage, guiding us through the twists and turns of Rachel’s creative career to date – from form to concept, and everything in between.

A pioneering artist of her generation, the first woman to win the Turner Prize, and a Dame no less, there is no question: Rachel Whiteread is a true master of her craft.

Rachel Whiteread and Tim Marlow, captured moments after the talk and adorned with our Sarabande Exclusive Moth Pin, found in-store and online at House of Bandits.

The Sarabande Moth Pin is crafted in the UK using recycled silver and designed by Sarabande artist Benjamin Hawkins, all purchases go directly to supporting the foundation. You can find out more about the making of the Moth Pin here.

Incase you couldn't grab a seat, here's one of our favourite moments from the talk:
