Helena Lacy
Helena Lacy is a ceramic artist creating sculptures and unique ceramic furniture. Exploring how natural movements shape and transform materials, Helena balances structure with unpredictability, using experimental glazing and printing techniques to mirror nature’s shifting patterns. She sees the kiln as an active collaborator, letting chance and transformation guide each piece.
Her ceramic furniture highlights the personal connections we form with the objects that shape our homes, inviting moments of reflection and re-grounding. Through overlooked details and quiet traces of use, her work uncovers how objects carry memory, place, and meaning.
In her series Re-print, Helena reinterprets classical blue and white ceramic imagery—particularly landscapes and scenes from nature—through the lens of distortion. Layering visuals and the stories they hold, she explores how history is remembered, retold, and transformed through material.
