Benedikte Kluver

Benedikte Kluver's medium of choice is predominantly painting, and her artworks exemplify a profound captivation with colour, manifested through instinctive exploration. Her brush- strokes glide, embrace and enliven the composition, engendering unexpected harmonies between hues. During Benedikte's final year at Slade, she focused on experimentation with C-Type printing and photography.

'I use my hands the same way for both methods; but instead of paint I use light to sculpt the photograph from the negative.'
