Sarabande artist Mircea Teleagã has been awarded the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant!

The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant is one of the most prestigious grants available to emerging representational artists, as well as one of the most substantial. It is one of the longest standing, with an illustrious history of recipients spanning more than half a century.

Mircea was welcomed to the foundation in 2014 as our MA Slade scholar, and was an artist in residence from 2016 to 2018: “My time at Sarabande has been an amazing experience. It is incredible how much vital support I have received … the community of artists here is really essential’.
