Camilla Hanney is an Irish Artist and current student on the Masters of Fine Art program at Goldsmiths University. In 2015, she graduated from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) with a first class BA honors degree in Visual Arts Practice. Through her practice Camilla attempts to provide a voice for fragments of the past that have, over time, become embedded and lost in history. These traces of a former presence help root our memories in an active present rather than a passive past. In 2014 and 2015 her work was selected for showcasing at RDS student art awards exhibition in Dublin. She was the recipient of the Ormond Studios Recent Graduate Award in 2015, which culminated in a solo show.
