Stefan Cooke shortlisted for 2024 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund
Today the British Fashion Council unveiled the lineup for the 2024 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, with Sarabande duo Stefan Cooke lined up in the shortlist amongst Ahluwalia, Chopova Lowena, Clio Peppiatt, Knwls and Nensi Dojaka.
With the support of the British Fashion Council, British Vogue, Burberry and Paul Smith, one brand or designer will receive a £150,000 cash prize, in addition to mentoring and advice to help grow their business.
Here we reflect on their last collection, ‘AWAY’. The SS24 collection featured a collaboration with @mulberryengland where a selection of 27 pre-loved Mulberry bags were transformed by Mulberry artisans to feature four signature Stefan Cooke motifs.
Since being set up back in 2008, the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund has been the springboard for talents like Richard Quinn (2022), Wales Bonner (2019), and Molly Goddard (2018), propelling them to fashion stardom.
