Pinpoint brings together small-scale works from thirteen Sarabande artists. Each piece, no larger than 20 x 15 cm, invites close attention—asking viewers to slow down and consider detail, texture, and gesture.

The exhibition explores the visual and conceptual potency of the miniature. As Susan Stewart writes in On Longing:

"The miniature speaks of infinite time, of the time of labour, lost in its multiplicity, and of the time of the world, collapsed within a minimum of physical space."

This sense of intensity within constraint runs through each work. Subtle but charged, they form a collective portrait of observation, memory, and introspection.

Sunday 20 July: Activations
Drop-in workshops and live sound throughout the day

11 AM – 1 PM
Tiny Terrariums with Cherry Song
Build a portable home for plants using found and repurposed materials.

1 – 3 PM
Art and Mindfulness with Daniel Rey
A drawing session focused on process, awareness, and stillness.

3 – 5 PM
Palm-sized Stories with Adele Brydges
Create tactile sculptural forms in air-dry clay. Each object becomes a small, handheld narrative.

Live soundscapes using crystal singing bowls will accompany the day’s activity.
