How many prints should I make and what should they cost? Should an artist proof be worth more? How do you put a price on your time, and what sort of price increase is acceptable, and when?

Pricing and editioning of artwork is complicated. Whether you’re a printmaker, painter, sculptor, photographer or performance artist, all artwork has a value, and finding that value can be a minefield.

All these questions and more were covered in this talk about putting a price on art. Our speakers were Roxane Perineau of Roman Road and Nick Campbell from Narcissus Arts. The discussion was led by Caroline Hussey-Bain.
