IT WAS A BIG ONE!

This year's Costume Institute exhibition, 'Camp: Notes on Fashion,’ was the topic of a discussion with Patron Andrew Bolton, in his only talk in the UK about the hard-to-define concept. In an age where self-expression is more important than ever, we hope you didn't miss this opportunity to hear from the visionary curator himself as he described his experience preparing for the show to moderator Liam Freeman, Features Editor of Vogue International. The show was inspired by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay “Notes on 'Camp',” which is widely credited with introducing the notion of Camp to the mainstream. On the first Monday in May, the aesthetic was celebrated at The Met Gala, perhaps one of the most Camp red carpet spectacles ever.
