Born in Sweden, Erik is fascinated by the role of identity and gender in fashion and its ability to encourage or hinder social development. The power fashion has to change forces outside of itself is at the heart of Erik’s work.

Erik studied MA Fashion Menswear at Central Saint Martins College, and takes inspiration from those who in opposition to the status quo and create more space for their own or their group’s existence. Selected by Andrew Bolton, Erik values Sarabande’s support in terms of more than financial support but also an emotional investment that anchors his belief in his work.
