Ilan Pozeilov
Ilan Pozeilov is a textile and fashion designer whose practice explores Latin American identity through the lens of a multicultural upbringing in Los Angeles. Over the past several years, Ilan has dedicated his practice to the art of weaving, using the loom to build an understanding of the making process that is rooted in the garments and objects he intends to make. His work pulls from both historical narrative and modern aesthetics, translating memory into tangible form. As of recent, Ilan has been focused on integrating artisan collaborations into his final year collection, fabricating hand made objects and garments that honor collective craftsmanship.
