INSPIRATION SERIES | ANDREW BOLTON IN CONVERSATION WITH LIAM FREEMAN

2019's Costume Institute exhibition, 'Camp: Notes on Fashion,’ is the topic of this inspiring discussion with Patron Andrew Bolton, in his only talk in the UK about the hard-to-define concept. In an age where self-expression is more important than ever, this is an opportunity to hear from the visionary curator himself as he describes his experience preparing for the show to moderator Liam Freeman, Senior Features Editor of Vogue Global Network. The show was inspired by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay “Notes on 'Camp',” which is widely credited with introducing the notion of Camp to the mainstream. On the first Monday in May, the aesthetic was celebrated at The Met Gala, perhaps one of the most Camp red carpet spectacles ever.
