We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get hands-on experience with our gallery House of Bandits.

House of Bandits is a gallery by Sarabande which started in 2020, acting as the commercial arm of the foundation. We show fine art, craft, jewellery, prints, fashion, sculpture and more. We have an eclectic aesthetic that reflects the breadth of creatives supported by the foundation over the years, consigning works both by current studio residents and alumni. The profits of all sales directly support our artists and the running of the foundation.

Our gallery is in Sarabande High Road, in Tottenham, but House of Bandits also functions as an e-commerce platform with all pieces available for sale online. We put on pop-ups throughout the year, including in 2025 a highly successful residency in Selfridges for 3 months, the photography fair Photo London in May, and Frieze Week satellite fairs Echo Soho and Minor Attractions in October. in 2026, we exhibited at Collect art fair, Somerset House. You should expect to assist in the daily running of of the foundation’s studios as well including our exciting events programme and other special projects.

Key Requirements:

Knowledge and interest in the contemporary art-world, galleries and the emerging art scene is a must.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Time management – punctual and reliable, able to manage workload and priorities effectively. Can perform multiple tasks within the required timeframe.
A commitment to Sarabande’s goals and objectives.

The Role:

Copywriting for artwork, jewellery and fashion.
Social media content ideation.
Photography skills.
Liaising with artists and designers, assisting with consigning works and creating catalogues.
Back-end organisation of commercial spaces; taking inventory, learning how to use programmes like Shopify for listing products for sale.
Artwork logistics.

Sarabande is an inspiring working environment and working within a small team, you will have the opportunity to be involved with on-the-job experience and have ownership on day to day tasks.

Terms: Full-time internship with travel and lunch expenses provided
Location: Sarabande High Road, 792 High Rd, London N17 0DH
Hours: Monday – Friday 9.30- 6pm with some evening work required for events
