Sarabande is a leading arts and cultural foundation with exhibition space and artist studios based in N1. Established by Lee Alexander McQueen, Sarabande supports the most creatively fearless visionaries of the future across a range of disciplines in art, design, film, and contemporary craftsmanship.
Working as part of a small, passionate team, the intern needs to be focused and creatively minded, with strong organisational skills and the ability to think both short- and long-term. Skills in digital communication are appreciated—as well as a can-do attitude, the ability to adapt to different projects, and an eagerness to learn.
This is an internship opportunity in a forward-thinking and fast-paced organisation. The successful applicant will assist with activities related to the Digital team, documenting and communicating the work of the Foundation.
Key Requirements

An interest in filming, photography, and creating digital content

Familiarity with Adobe software (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop)

A passion for good design and visual aesthetics

The Role
The purpose of this role is to assist the Digital team at Sarabande with the following tasks:

Capturing film and photography for artist activities, foundation-led projects, and events
-
Assisting the Digital and Events teams in developing and implementing social media strategy, including brainstorming and suggesting ideas for Instagram

Monitoring and updating social media accounts (with prior approval from the Digital team)

Researching and communicating the activities of those affiliated with Sarabande (patrons, scholars, artists-in-residence) to help grow the Foundation’s digital presence

Updating the website’s news and events pages, and checking for purchases of merchandise and artworks

Managing the Sarabande archive—ensuring digital and administrative files are correctly organised and liaising with the Digital team as needed

Conducting research for specific digital or communications projects

Supporting both the Digital and Events teams with day-to-day tasks

Assisting with general operations at the Foundation

Helping to prepare marketing collateral and press materials, ensuring all outreach resources are shared accordingly
